The focus of the
College is training and human resource development for the Civil
Aviation Industry in Nigeria. Training |
|
activities reached its peak in the 80’s and
90’s. This was as a result of the provision of more training
facilities like the |
|
F28 Simulator, fleet of trainer aircraft, a
bigger hanger, classrooms and hence an increase in the number of |
|
instructional personnel, professionals and
students. At inception, the College started with about four
standard courses |
|
in piloting, air traffic services, aircraft
maintenance engineering and aeronautical telecommunications
engineering. |
|
Presently, it runs over 65 standard and abridged courses. |
